Cats Whiskers is a beautiful refined, modern mare with lots of athleticism. She has great movement and expression of paces with an outstanding canter. With plenty of blood in her pedigree, she can easily open gallop and Is light across the ground.
A successful Show Jumper and Eventer, She has a super jump technique with plenty of scope, is careful whilst being brave and loves her job.
Cats Whiskers performed with many wins and placings in Show Jumping and Eventing, prior to becoming one of our crucial breeding mares.
Sire: Distelfink
Hanoverian stallion by Diskus, Distelfink was a licensed breeding stallion in Germany prior to being imported into New Zealand. His best known offspring included Super Moth LS who with John Cottle won over 75 jumping classes, was Horse of the Year and 5 times Show jumper of the year before his sale to the USA, where he won the Denver World Cup. His offspring were Horse of the Year winners, Young Horse of the Year winners, Show Hunter of the Year and national champions in dressage and eventing. Distelfink went on to become the leading sire of Show jumpers in NZ for over 12 years.
